Biography Milon Mikhail
(1792 - 1821). He was educated at boarding school at Moscow University, he served in the Ministry of Justice, then in the supply man department. Milonova poems collected under the title: "Satire, messages and other minor poems Milonova" (St. Petersburg, 1819). The publication is incomplete, and its reprinting (Smirdin, St. Petersburg, 1849), full censorship dockage, which have M. Longinov in "Russian Archive", 1864,? 3, appeared in "Complete Works of Russian authors, in a book with the works Nakhimova and Sudovschikova. Milon sometimes weary of life, sometimes yearns for the life of a new, uncharted, free from vulgarity. Best poems Milonova - autobiography and satire. He idealizes rustic life in his poem "Epistle to the farmers," entirely romantic in spirit. Enjoyed great fame satire Milonova: "To Rubellite" (though at Arakcheeva) characterizes of a powerful too general. Sincerely tone elegy "To my sister". Separately issued his "Speech and verses, read at the meeting amateur national literature" (Moscow, 1808) and "Ode to the destruction of Napoleon's armies in Russia (St. Petersburg, 1813). - Wed. MN.
