The number of prints, engravings M., reaches several hundred, of which only a few filled with his own sketches and drawings, the others - to play other people's tracks. Especially appreciated by his etchings of selected paintings from the Hermitage, published in 1872 in Vienna, in the form of two compilations: "Les chefs d'oeuvre de l'Ermitage" (20 sheets) and "Les Rembrandts de l'Ermitage" (40 pages). Rembrandt etchings devoted to the album, released M. in 1876, under the title: "Dix eauxfortes d'apres Rembrandt". M. also engraved with pictures VV. Vereshchagin, H. Gay ( "The Last Supper"), in.
