Biography Ants Andrey
(1806 - 1874), brother of MM-Vilna. Was in military service, then a clerk for the chief prosecutor's table in the Holy Synod, a member of the presence in the Asian Department. Works M. were the first in Russian books of spiritual content, widely spread among the highest Russian society. M. to obtain for permission to publish previously unpublished biography, which until individuals are not allowed, and so provided an opportunity to appear in the light of a more perfect work of Bishop Filaret. M. had a great influence on our clergy, as was considered a friend of the Moscow Metropolitan Filaret. Major works: "Letters of worship Vost. kafol.
