Biography OREL Boris
(real name Smirnov) (1793 - 1837). A serf landlord Shatilova released him to freedom. Worked at Triscornia, in St. Petersburg. Major works created Orlovsky in St. Petersburg - a statue of an angel on the Alexander Column, one of the bas-reliefs on the plinth of the columns, monuments Barclay de Tolly and Kutuzov and 7 figures of geniuses at the gates of Moscow Triumphal Gate. The works reflect the influence Orlovsky Thorvaldsen.
