Biography Harz Johann
(Gartze; lats. Garcaeus) . (13.12.1530, 13:28 PM, Hamburg, on dr.dannym Wittenberg - 22/01/1574 or 1575, Alt-Brandenburg) -- . He studied at Wittenberg, became the pastor of the church sv.Iakova in Greifswald and professor of theology at the University of this city (since 1561), was then appointed superintendent and bishop in the Alt-Brandenburg . G. - The author of several treatises on various aspects of astrology. These works have been recognized reading public, as evidenced by the fact that the works of Mr.. repeatedly published. The most famous treatise G. "The method of astrology", containing over 400 examples of horoscopes. G. also owns a popular work on meteorology.
