Biography Max Bruch (Bruch Max)
(1838-1920) Born January 6, 1838 in Cologne. Pupil F. Hiller, K. Reynard and F. Breuning, he soon began to compose in the choral genre, and lifelong Bruch's exactly the kind of works brought him success. He worked in Germany and in England, and in 1892 succeeded G.fon Hertsogenberga the post office in the Dean of composing the Berlin High School of Music. Bruch died in Friedenau October 2, 1920. The most enduring legacy proved in his first two violin concertos written by him and play Quantity Nidrei for cello and orchestra.
