Biography John Flamsteed
Member of the Royal Society in 1676, Mr.. Astronomer Royal. Methods elective astrology identified the most favorable time for the foundation of the Greenwich Observatory, the laying of which was made in a carefully calculated the time - 15h. 14m. 10.08.1675 r. Flamsteed became its first director. In 1673, Mr.. Flamsteed was the ephemeris of the Moon, calculated as the provisions of the sun, planets and fixed stars to the point of observation (Greenwich). The main work of Flamsteed - "British History of the sky" (published posthumously in 1725).
