Vladimirtsov Boris Yakovlevich

Born July 8, 1884 in Kaluga. In 1909 he graduated from the Faculty of Oriental Languages Petersburg University, trained in France by A. Meillet. From 1918 he taught at the Petrograd (Leningrad) University, a professor from 1921. Since 1929, Academician. He participated in expeditions in Mongolia.
