Biography Christina Georgina Rossetti
(1830-1894) Rossetti's poetry was deeply religious and admiration for the beauty of nature. Born Dec. 5, 1830 in London, the youngest of four children of Italian poet-exile GA Rossetti (1783-1854). One of her brothers - a poet and artist DG Rossetti. Being under the influence of his talented older brothers and sisters, Rossetti began writing poems in twelve years of her poetry have had a marked influence of the religious ideas of the Oxford Movement and Pre-Raphaelite literature and painting. Rossetti died in London on December 29, 1894.
