Biography ANTHONY (Boldin)
Author of 'The Life of Saint Gerasimos', written in 1586, Mr.. We know two of his handwritten list: one was kept in the Rumyantsev Museum in Moscow, the second - in Boldin monastery, before the revolution. Rumyantsev attached to the manuscript autobiography Gerasimos Boldin, founder of the monastery, which was notable cultural centers in the Smolensk. Gerasim, according to The Life, came from Pereyaslavl Zaleski, in 1530, Mr.. settled in 'zhitine male', built together with visiting from all over Russia brethren Holy Trinity Church in honor of his spiritual teacher, St. Sergius of Radonezh.
