Biography Nikolai L. Glinka
(7.V.1882, with. Kavshiry Porechsky district of Smolensk province - 22.IH.1965, . Moscow), Honored Scientist, . largest teacher-methodist, . whose books for decades, determined the level of chemical education in non-chemical and chemical technical institutes of the USSR,
. The representative of an ancient noble family. In 1900, Mr.. Smolensk graduated from high school and enrolled at MSU. 19.V.1902 g. expelled from the university as a party political speech of students and imprisoned for 3 months in jail. In 1908, Mr.. Graduated from Moscow State University and on to the Department of Organic Chemistry. In 1911, Mr.. resigned from the university, together with a third teacher, who had resigned in protest against the tyranny of the Minister of Education Kasso. From 1912 to 1929. taught chemistry and physics in schools and universities of Moscow workers' school. Posted textbook "Inorganic Chemistry" for the agricultural colleges, reworked it in a textbook for high schools (passed 5 editions). G. wrote a textbook on "Challenges and Exercises for General Chemistry" textbook "General Chemistry" (stand 10 editions), training tasks (11 publications). Two major books G. translated into the languages of Soviet peoples, many languages of Europe, Asia, Africa. G. liaise closely with the Smolensk. In Smolensk museum preserves many editions of his books autographed by the author.
