Velino the Smolensk district of Smolensk province - 7.VIII.1963, Riga), Early years (1911-1923) took place in one of the oldest Latvian colonies, founded in 1888,. - Velino-Bashutkinskoy. Graduated Bashutkinskuyu Latvian school 1-st stage. After graduating from the Moscow All-Union Communist instuta journalism worked in the newspaper "Whistle" in 1940. - Editor of "Soviet Youth" in Riga. During the Great Patriotic War, led the railroad newspaper in Tashkent. As a special correspondent for Pravda in 1944. worked in Riga. In the 50-6D-ies. the election of a member of the Academy of Sciences of the Latvian SSR on the separation of the economy - executive editor of the journal Proceedings of the Latvian Academy of Sciences of the USSR ".
