A graduate of St. Petersburg Teachers' Seminary. Since 1804, Mr.. - A senior teacher of the Smolensk provincial gymnasium. In 1805, Mr.. received his Ph.D. at Moscow University. Collegiate advisor since 1831, Mr.. Since 1834. Retired. He has translated a book of German historian K. Gammersderfera "Hachalnye foundation of world history". Worked on "strategic and historic description of the province of Smolensk". In the journal "Notes of the Fatherland" in 1826.
