Graduated from the Faculty of Education, Department of Natural Smolensky University (1930). For many years the head of the laboratory water-salt equilibria Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry, USSR Academy of Sciences for 30 years a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, USSR Academy of Sciences. Under the direction of L. successfully develop scientific cooperation with chemists lONKh Bulgaria, China, East Germany. The main line of work - the application of physical-chemical analysis to the study of liquid mixtures.
