. Born January 19, 1914 in Moscow in a working class family. Russian. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1939. Graduated from the 7 classes and school FZU. Was a student and then as a fitter at the plant "Aviahim-1". In 1932 he graduated from Glider School, was the instructor-glider factory Aeroclub. In the Red Army in 1936. Admitted to the Tank School.
