M ihail V. Kopylov, Lieutenant Colonel, Chief of Political Section 318-th Infantry Division Novorossiysk. Born September 5, 1907 in a. Border Novouzensk District, Saratov Region. Russian. He graduated from the College Road in 1935. In the prewar years was director vehicle maintenance, instructor and head of the department of the Astrakhan Party Committee, first secretary of the district committee and secretary of the CPSU okruzhkoma. In the Soviet Army was in 1929 - 1931 and 1941 - 1947 respectively.
From August 1942 until December 1943 had fought in the Transcaucasian and North Caucasian Front. Participated in the defense and liberation of the Caucasus, the liberation of the Crimea. Seriously injured and suffered a concussion in December 1943. For military distinctions awarded the Order of Lenin (1943), the Red Banner (1943), the medal "For Defense of the Caucasus" and three other medals.

After curing in the hospital Kopylov was found partially fit for military service and was appointed chief of the Political Department of the Saratov political and military schools. In 1947, for health reasons was forced to resign from the Soviet Army. Worked the second and first secretary of Party Committee of the Astrakhan. From 1951 to 1954 he studied at the Higher Party School of the Central Committee, after which heads the department Party Committee and Chairman of the Regional Council of Trade Unions.
In 1963, M. V. Kopylov was awarded the Order of Red Banner of Labor. Retired colonel, a retired union values. Died Dec. 28, 1983.

Badly wounded, shell-shocked and blinded by grenade fragments, he continued to lead the fight to the long lost consciousness.
