. Wedged in a position of Soviet troops the Germans cut off from the main group of forces. Twenty fearless heroes, led by Mamedov were unequal battle. In over 10 hours, fought off Soviet fighters attack a battalion of the Nazis and kept occupied positions until reinforcements. In this hot battle was destroyed some 300 Nazis. Mamedov personally destroyed 70 soldiers and three officers of the enemy.
