M ihail G. Machin, Guard, Air Force Major General, commander of the 5 th Guards Fighter Aviation Lviv Red Banner Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky 1-degree case. Born September 21, 1907 in Art. Letyazhevka Arkadak district of Saratov region. Russian, member of the CPSU since 1927. He graduated from the school the first step on the place of birth and training courses in higher educational institutions in Voronezh. In 1931, the mobilization of the party entered Engels Military Pilot School, graduating in 1933. He served in the parts of the bomber force, and in 1940 moved to the fighter aircraft.
