M ihail Andrianovich Sokolov, lieutenant, commander of the armored brigade armored Azov Flotilla. Born December 20, 1919 in g. Saratov. Russian. After graduating from high school voluntarily entered the Naval School.

During the Great Patriotic War, fought on the Azov and Black Seas. Participated in the liberation of the coastal cities of Taganrog, Zhdanov, Osipenko, Kerch and Sevastopol. For the differences in the battles and impeccable service in the Navy awarded the Order of the Red Banner (1943), . Alexander Nevsky (1944), . World War 1-st degree (1945), . two Orders of Red Star (1943, . 1957), . medals "For Military Merit" (1950), . "For the victory over Germany in World War II 1941 - 1945 gg." and four other medals.,
