Biography Valentin Filatov Ignatievich
Soviet pilot. Born January 21, 1930. He graduated from teacher training college, and then aviation school. He served in the aviation wing of the Soviet air defense. In 1960, he was enrolled in the cosmonaut (1960 Group of the Air Force? 1). Trained to fly on ships such as 'East'. April 17, 1963 order of the Commander of the Air Forces of the USSR expelled from the cosmonaut corps in violation of military discipline (while drunk, had not complied with a military patrol). After leaving the cosmonaut corps continued to serve in the aviation wing of the Soviet air defense. After the release of the reserve, he taught at one of GPTU city of Orel, and then retired. Died Sept. 15, 1990.
