Born November 8, 1946. G. Moscow. He graduated from the Geological Faculty of Moscow State University (1970).

Candidate of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences (1974), Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1996). Associate Professor Department of Geophysics, Geological Faculty (1988).

. Member of the European Association of Exploration Geophysicists, a member of the European Section of the Association of Engineering Geophysics, a member of the Euro-Asian Geophysical Society, board member of the Association of Engineering Geophysics, Russia.

. Research interests: electrical impedance method, engineering, environmental and archaeological geophysics; questions of the theory, methodology, processing and interpretation, algorithms and programs for shallow electrical
. Developed with the participation of its software packages for data interpretation of VES widely used in Russia and many foreign countries, in the learning process of many universities. Topic of Ph.D. thesis: Issues of methodology and interpretation of the frequency sensing horizontally layered and inhomogeneous media. Subject doctoral dissertation: Direct and inverse problems of electrical impedance method for isotropic and anisotropic media.
