DUDIN Mikhail

Born on 20 November in the village Klevnevo Ivanovo region into a peasant family. Rhode Dudin - kind of buffoons, roving artists and poets, and probably, it determined his vocation. He graduated from the Ivanovo textile-school, received a Special Assistant to the weaving masters, but also did not become a weaver. Began writing poetry early in 1934.

Creativity was his "salvation with fear and savagery". The first book of poems "Downpour" came out in Ivanovo in 1940.

From May 1940 to December 2, 1941 is in the garrison of the peninsula Gangut (Russian name of the peninsula of Hanko), heroically defended by the Finnish Army. In December, the garrison was evacuated to Kronstadt. The outbreak of World War II finds Dudina in Leningrad, where he had to go through the beginning of the blockade.
