Biography Dudince Vladimir Dmitrievich
Born on July 16 (29 NS) 1918. Kupyansk in the city of Kharkiv region. After leaving school he entered the Moscow Institute of Law, receiving a diploma in 1940. Soon he joined the Red Army and the first days of World War II took part in combat operations. After being seriously wounded near Leningrad worked in the military prosecutor's office in Siberia (1942 - 45). In the postwar years, he moved to Moscow, worked in the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda", writing essays. In 1952 came the first collection of short stories Dudintsev "Seven knights".
In 1956 he published the novel "Not by bread alone", have done a lot of noise, which caused numerous comments and harsh criticism, heated debate. K. Paustovsky defended both the novel and its author.
In 1960 Dudincev published allegorical "New Year fairy tale", in 1963 - a collection of "Stories".
In 1986 the novel "White garments" (on Soviet biology in 1948), who had a huge success and once again forced to talk about the author. V. Dudincev lives and works in Moscow.
