Shchipachev Stepan Petrovich (1899 - 1979), poet.
Born December 26, 1898 (January 7, 1899 NS) in the village Shchipachev Yekaterinburg province to a peasant family. Orphaned early, with a rotten childhood, was a clerk in the shop, working in the mines.
In 1919 - 31 served in the Red Army, was a Red, cadet, a political worker. Lyrics Shchipachev printed in leaflets, local newspapers. In 1923 in Simferopol released his first collection of poems by mounds of Ages ". In 1931 - 32 - collections of "One-sixth" and "Defying the Limits".
In 1934 he graduated from the literary department of the Institute of Red Professors.
In mid-1930's poetry Shchipachev gets lyrical intonation. The best collection of these years - "Under the sky of my homeland" (1937) and "Lyrics" (1939). In 1939 Shchipachev involved in the liberation of Western Ukraine.
During World War II he worked in the front print. In 1942 publishes "Front Verses, in 1945 -" Strings of Love ".
In 1958, wrote an autobiographical novel about his childhood - "Birch juice".
In 1960 creates the poem "The Heir" (1965), "Stargazer," "Stage - globe" (1967), "Song of Moscow" (1968) and others.
The book of poems "comrades in life" was published in 1972. In 1973 was published the collected works of C. Shchipachev in three volumes. S. Shchipachev died in Moscow in 1979.
