Biography ANSHTET Ivan Osipovich
ANSHTET (ANSTETT) Ivan Osipovich (1766-1835) - Russian diplomat, Actual Privy Councilor. The son of a Strasbourg lawyer. In 1789 the French adopted from the Russian service in the rank of lieutenant and assigned to the rowing fleet, located in the Finnish skerries.
