Biography Ernst Heinkel (Heinkel)
Heinkel, Ernst (Heinkel), (1888-1958), German aircraft designer. Born January 24, 1888 in Grunbahe (Wц+rttemberg). In 1911 he graduated from the Technische Hochschule in Stuttgart. In 1913-22 worked as chief designer of a number of aircraft manufacturer. For years 1 - World War II Heinkel has created more than 30 types of aircraft employed by the armies of Germany and Austria. In 1922 he founded the aircraft manufacturer in Warnemц+nde, existed until 1945. The company produces more than 100 types of aircraft (training, coaching, scouts, bombers, fighters, etc.).
