Biography FRAME Bashir Iskanderovich
Bashir Iskandarovich Rameev started his scientific work in the field of computer technology in the Energy Institute of USSR Academy of Sciences (ENIN) under the leadership of a member of the Academy of Sciences Bruk. The summer of 1948 a young engineer and has a venerable scholar co-sponsored the original project, entitled "Automatic digital electronic machine". This was the first country project digital computer with a hard program management, completed a few months before the start of work on the SECM.

In 1949 B.I. Rameev moved to the newly created specifically for the design and construction of digital computers SKB-245, an organization that has become the unofficial rival ITM and VT SI. Lebedev. Based on the experience of joint work with Brooke, Rameev drafted a new car. Formally Rameev deputy chief designer of "Arrows", Bazilevsky, but in fact it was he who was the designer of the machine. Computer "Strela" series became the first Soviet computers: industrial conditions, it was released 7 copies of this machine. For the creation of "Arrows" Rama and his colleagues in 1953 were awarded the State Prize. After Strela Rameev began work on a new computer "Ural-1", this time as a general designer. The first machine of the series was to be made in Penza, and the frame with a group of young officers SKB-245 moved in.. Lamp machine "Ural-1" was released in 1954. This computer with the speed of 100 operations per second and memory on magnetic drums belonged to the category of small inexpensive cars mainly for engineering applications and for many years to use computing centers of the country.

After developing several models of "Ural" in the tube element base and the memory already in ferrites Rameev in 1960 moved to create a family of semiconductor "Ural". Machines Rameeva represented a universal system for solving various engineering, economical and managerial problems. In this series, was embodied the idea of creating a unified family of structurally and software-compatible machines of different performance. In fact, it has been the principles of developing the third generation machines, we have received embodiment in a series of EU and SM computers in the 70-ies.

In the early 50's two leading technical universities in Moscow - Moscow Engineering Physics Institute and MCI - have been introduced courses in computer science. In MEI lectures read Lebedev, and in the MEPI - Rama, who had no higher education, as in the 30 years he was expelled from the institute as "the son of an enemy of the people". Realizing the uncertainty of this situation, Rameev appealed to the Ministry of Culture with a request that he be allowed to complete their education, passing the necessary examinations as external. Alas, officials not only rejected his request, but also banned from teaching. So a scientist with experience in developing and commissioning of one of the first computers in the country remains without a formal higher education. However, this did not prevent him from becoming the chief engineer and deputy director for scientific work Penza Institute of Mathematical Machines and subsequently obtained the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences without defending a thesis.
