emyuel Adrian Bo was born on 17 March 1914 on a farm near the town of Temple, Texas, U.S.. He was the middle of three children and grew up in the family of Lucy and James Bo. Shortly after the birth of his younger brother Sammy, his parents divorced and his mother with three children moved to the city Suitvoter. There Sammy Bo graduated from high school and enrolled in college. In college, Sammy began to play baseball and even got to the championship of the State Youth Championship. There he became carried away and football. While studying at TCU Bo participated in the youth competitions in three sports: baseball, football and basketball. After graduation, Sammy decided to go to St. Louis to sign a contract with the local baseball team.
