Miroslav Klose - is German football player of the German-Polish origin, attacker of the Munich "Bavaria" and Germany's football team. He is the second goal-scorer in the history of Germany's football team after Gerd Muller.

He is the son of the German football player Joseph Kloze and the Polish handballer Barbara Ezh. In 1999 he came to German club "Kaiserslautern" from "Homburg", and in seven years became the best goal-scorer of the World footbal championship and the main striking power of Germany's football team.

Klose became famous after the World championship of 2002. His career is completely linked to Germany - he never played for professional foreign clubs. Such European grandees as the Spanish "Barcelona" and Italian "Juventus" were eager to see him their own player, but "Bavaria" nevertheless managed to hold the player in the country what cost to the club 15 m euro.

After Klose's appearance Bavaria's attack line became the strongest in the club. Fanslove him not only for head-playing, strong technique and ability not to be greedy, but also by somersaults after scored balls.

Interesting facts
1. He has 14 scored goals in the World championships.
2. The question of Miroslav's origin is a subject of some discussions. His mother Barbara Ezh is definitely the Pole, and father Joseph Klose was considered the Polish origin, however in interview in the middle of 2000 he declared that considers himself Silesian and European, but in no way the Pole. Miroslav prefers, that it named as the European. Though at home the whole family speaks Polish.
