Biography Constantine Dumitrashko Danilovich
(1814 - 1886). First he printed his poems under the pseudonym Kopytko. In 1859, Mr.. issued remaking "Batrachomyomachia" on Little Russian language - "Zhabomyshedrakivku" - hexameters, the language of the poem is correct, clear and strong. It is based on historical and political grounds: toad depict Sich Cossacks, mouse - Poles XVII century., Crayfish, sent by Zeus to help frogs - Russian troops. The author's sympathies on the side of the Cossacks and Russian. Dumitrashko wrote several poems on the legends of folk-poetry of the theme: "sworn", "Wake", "Serpent".
