T Aras Luke Fedorovich - commander of an artillery platoon 137 th howitzer artillery regiment (the 13th Army, the North-Western Front), Lieutenant. Born February 5, 1913 in the village Zarubinka now Velykoburlutska region Kharkov region (Ukraine). Russian. He worked as a foreman at the farm.
In the army since 1935. In 1939 he graduated from courses for junior lieutenants. In 1939 participated in the introduction of Soviet troops on the territory of Western Ukraine and Belorussia.
Member of the Soviet-Finnish war of 1939-1940. In the fighting on 25-27 February 1940 brought their guns to the direct fire and open fire position shelled the enemy bunkers, destroying three of them.

. As the troops of the Bryansk, Voronezh, Stalingrad, Southern, Steppe and 2 of the First Ukrainian fronts took part in the battles of Stalingrad and Kursk, the liberation of Ukraine, Poland and Germany.
. After the war he continued service in the Armed Forces
. Since 1960, Lieutenant Colonel Tarasov L.F. Б? retired.
Lived in Moscow (on the street Seryogina). He taught at the Air Force Engineering Academy named after NE Zhukovsky. Died Aug. 18, 1990. He is buried in Moscow on Troekurov cemetery.
. He was awarded the Order of Lenin, Red Banner, 2 orders of the Patriotic War, 1-st degree, Order of the Red Star and medals.
