(1885-1952), American psychologist. Born in Hamburg (Germany), September 16, 1885. Degree of Doctor of Medicine has received in the University of Freiburg in 1913, taught at the Berlin psychoanalytic institute (1920-1932). Moved to the United States in 1932, became one of the leaders of the Chicago Institute of psychoanalytic. In 1941 founded the American Institute of psychoanalytic.
