Sadovnichy: the branch of Moscow state University in Sevastopol in need of modernisation
Sevastopol branch of Moscow state University, opened 16 years ago, is the pride of Moscow University to the present day, however, the branch is in need of modernization, which is impossible without state support, said the Rector of Moscow state University Viktor Sadovnichy.
"Our 1st overseas branch, our pride, opened 16 years ago in Sebastopol. This branch was the first experience of the presence of Russian higher school in this format abroad, " said Sadovnichy speaking on Thursday at the Board of Trustees of the University.
Rector of Moscow state University said that over the years, the Sevastopol branch of Moscow state University has prepared about 2 thousand experts. At the expense of public money of the Russian Federation and extra-budgetary funds of Moscow state University in the branch were trained to 80% of students - citizens of Ukraine and other CIS countries.
