Volkov Boris Ivanovich (1900-70) - Russia's theatrical artist, folk artist of the USSR (1965). Combined three-dimensional paintings and decorations, and introduced the lyrical landscapes (opera "The Family of Taras" Kabalevsky in Musical Theater. Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko, 1951). USSR State Prize (1949, 1951, 1952).
