Shell has decided to withdraw from shale gas projects in Ukraine
The Dutch-British oil Firm Royal Dutch Shell out of the project for the extraction of shale gas in Ukraine because of lower world prices for oil and natural gas, said the Minister of ecology and natural resources of Ukraine Igor Shevchenko.

In July, Shell did not rule out a change of plans on drilling wells in the area of Hughes (Kharkiv and Donetsk region). In March, Shell stopped the dialogue with the new leadership of Ukraine on creation of the Scythian land on the Black sea shelf, the signing of which is expected before the end of last year.
