Marat Safin refuses from participation in "Kremlin Cup"
On of the strongest Russian tennis player Marat Safin will not play in the first-rate native tournament "Kremlin Cup" because of the left knee injury.
Safin decided not to play until the tournament St.-Petersburg Open 2005 which will start in St. Petersburg on October 24. Then he will play on a tournament of master rank in Paris and in a final tournament ATP in Shanghai.
As an official Safin site declared, Russian tennis-player plans that this practice will be enough to understand what level of load an injured knee can stand.
After the end of current season a decision about Safin?s tournament participation in 2006 will be made. The last time Marat appeared on a tennis-court in middle August on a tournament in Cincinnati and decided to refuse from participation in US Open after that.
