The government of Montenegro has expressed a regret in connection with inclusion to the list of countries covered by the food embargo Russia.
"The government of Montenegro regrets because of today's decision by the Russian government to include Montenegro in the number of countries for which a ban on the import of agricultural products, raw materials and food. At the moment the Government of Montenegro has no list of products covered by today's decision ", - said on Thursday the press service of the Montenegrin government.
It is noted that Montenegro remains committed to maintaining the exchange of political views with the Russian Federation and building a serious relationship in all fields of mutual interest.
The government is also " actively advocates that the reasons that led to the imposition of restrictive measures by the EU and joined by Montenegro as a candidate country for EU membership, were resolved in the near future."
