At Sevastopol fell 40-ton landslide
On the beach in Sevastopol there was a mudslide, weighing about 40 tons. Near the village of Kacha in the sea tumbled a massive chunk of ground.
The accident told performing duties of head of the Directorate for civil protection Igor Vasiliev at hardware meeting in the government of Sevastopol. He stressed that the collapse in the region happened in the landslide zone, and no one was hurt. In addition Vasilyev added that limited without destruction of infrastructure.
"In Nakhimovsky area near cachi 6 September in the landslide area had a landslide. A lot of the soil is 35 to 40 tonnes collapsed (on the beach)" - quoted Vasileva "Criminals".
Together with the chief Directorate of civil protection Igor Vasilyev stressed that in Sevastopol now 180 landslide sites and more than 100 km landslide zones, which are taken on record and marked with appropriate warning signs.

Sevastopol has declared it on landslides and clearance of ammunition of times of the great Patriotic war", - said Vasilyev, adding that the country plans to allocate funds, in particular, shore protection works.
Note that the landslides in Sevastopol is not unique. Namely, June 27, in the coast line of the Quarantine Bay the result of abundant precipitation also had a landslide of soil. In conjunction with this trouble have overtaken the region in early June, when on the 45th kilometer of the highway Sevastopol - Yalta the mudslide happened. June 29, 2013 there is a collapse of the sea near the village of Kacha. Hundreds of tons of soil collapsed on the beach area where you would normally like to rest the local inhabitants. Then in addition there were no casualties. And in the summer of 2005 after heavy rains in the same area on the beach was hit by a landslide which killed 16-year-old woman, came to rest.
