The SBU wants to question ex-Deputy of the Party of regions Kolesnichenko
The security service of Ukraine called for interrogation in the suspect's ex-Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from Party of regions Vadim Kolesnichenko, who now lives in Crimea, the corresponding agenda published on the Internet representation offices.
According to the document, Kolesnichenko required to appear for questioning on 17 and 18 September in the form of a suspect in the case, which was instituted under article "infringement of the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine" and " violation of equality of people depending on Their race, racionalnosti or attitude to religion ". The agenda will mention only the case number.
Adopted by the Parliament in January 2014, in the midst of the protests on the main square of Kiev, on the initiative at that time, the ruling Party of regions laws were significantly tightened the rules of holding mass events, introduced criminal liability for libel, allowed the blocking of Internet resources without punishment the court. Then the opposing political force called these laws " draconian ". Their adoption has led to the aggravation of confrontation between the Maidan and the authorities. At the end of January, the laws were abolished.
A month later, in Ukraine there was a coup. The Verkhovna Rada ousted Viktor Yanukovych from power, changed the Constitution and called early presidential elections, the results of which the new leader has become the country's Petro Poroshenko. Fresh authorities began to sue the bureaucrats of the Yanukovych criminal cases.
