Died Olympic champion in basketball
Titled national basketball favorite Games 1972 in the USSR team in basketball Ivan Dorny died at the age of 63. At last the lifetime of the athlete suffered from cancer.

The fate of the athlete was tragic. In 20 years of playing post Dorny was invited to the national team of the USSR. It has participated in the Olympic games in Munich, in the final the Russian team won a famous victory over the Americans with a score of 51:50. A year later, playing for Spartak Leningrad, became the winner of the Cup holders Cup, twice won the silver medal of the USSR championship.
