Elton John Cancels Tours Due to Flue
Elton John got to the hospital after falling ill with the flu two weeks ago. The musician is now recovering and feeling much better.
According to the UK?s Daily Mail, the 62-year-old star entered the King Edward VII Hospital in Marylebone, London, on Friday.
His partner, David Furnish, reportedly took care of him most time of Saturday.
Elton performed in Barcelona last Tuesday and allegedly canceled the final stage of his Red Piano tour on Friday, having previously canceled several UK dates due to the illness, and
three dates in Seattle and Portland on his tour with Billy Joel.
Elton is the latest British singer to have sickness keep him from the stage - former Smiths frontman Morrissey was hospitalized last weekend after collapsing during a solo gig in Swindon, England. He has since resumed his tour.
