Opposing political force informs about the victory in 6 regions of Ukraine on local elections
The leader of the Opposition bloc Yuriy Boyko said that his party won in local elections in 6 regions. About it Boyko said press conference in the evening on Sunday in Kiev.
"We won - came in 1st place in 6 areas, most in Central Ukraine," - said the leader of the block. According to Boyko, the story is about Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Mykolaiv oblasts.
Local elections are held in Ukraine on Sunday on the new electoral law. Regional, city and district councils will be elected under the proportional system with open lists, and the deputies of village councils under majority system of relative majority.
The results must be determined before November 4 and made public for five days, and in the case of the 2nd round of elections of the mayor in the big cities - not later than November 20.
