Susan Sarandon Nibbles Dessert with "Younger" Man Post-Breakup
Susan Sarandon is moving on.
The newly single actress, 63, was seen looking "quite happy" in the company of a "younger-looking fellow" around 2 a.m. Monday, New York`s Daily News reports.
"They shared a crepe with Nutella and whipped cream," an eyewitness says of Sarandon`s late night bite at the Creperie in Manhattan`s West Village. "[They] stayed and chatted for a while."
On Dec. 23, Sarandon`s rep confirmed to UsMagazine.com that, over the summer, the actress had split from actor Tim Robbins after 23 years together.
Sarandon and Robbins, 51, have two sons: Jack Henry, 20, and Miles Guthrie, 17. (Sarandon has a daughter Eva Amurri, 24, from a previous relationship with Italian director Franco Amurri.)
In 2004, Sarandon said of her partnership with Robbins, "We fight strongly but fairly. I can`t say that it is always comfortable, but he is my really good friend."
