Samantha Harris Leaves Dancing with the Stars
Dancing with the Stars is now short one familiar face: Samantha Harris.
Harris won`t be appearing alongside co-host Tom Bergeron on the show when season ten kicks off March 22, she confirms to UsMagazine.com. The entertainment journalist is getting ready to take on "expanded responsiblities on The Insider," she explains to Us. Her replacement on DWTS has not yet been announced.
Harris tells Us of her departure: "I`ve loved every aspect of my time at Dancing With The Stars. I`ve lived and breathed this incredible show for the last eight seasons, making lifelong friends along the way. It has given me so many wonderful opportunities."
ABC rep Conrad Green tells Us:"It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Samantha. She will be much missed, but always part of the DWTS family. We support her and wish her all the best in her future endeavors."
Harris, 36, has appeared on E! News, The Insider and Extra, and joined DWTS as co-host for season two in 2006. (She replaced Lisa Canning).
She and her husband Michael Hess, have a two-year-old daughter, Josselyn.
