British banker Rurik convicted in a gruesome double murder
Former British banker Rurik was convicted of killing two young Indonesian women in 2014. This terrible event shook the whole of Hong Kong.
The accused pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, claiming that he was insane. His defense argues that his mental problems affected his decision at the time of the murder. The jury returned a unanimous verdict on both counts. Now he faces a life sentence in prison.
