In Pakistan faced 2 trains


In Pakistan, near the railway station faced 2 trains. 17 people were killed. Injured about 50 people.

The incident occurred when the Express train from Multan collided with the Express train from Lahore, said the General Director under the Ministry of transport, Ashraf Langar. Both trains run every 15 minutes from their respective stations during the morning rush hour. One train has a capacity of 1232 persons, and the second - 1,320.

One of the trains was standing at the railway station, when the second crashed into him. It turned out that the driver ignored signals on the line. The station is on city road, Karachi. Video from the scene shows extensive damage at least one car of the train. The head of the ER at the hospital, CNN reports that she and her team took the wounded and dead after the accident.

The Minister of Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq has expressed on Twitter his condolences. "Really sad over the loss of precious souls." There will be an independent investigation of the accident.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif expressed sorrow and grief in connection with loss of life, and directed an immediate search and rescue operation at the scene. Sharif also asked the authorities concerned to investigate the causes of the accident, according to the statement, adding that "those responsible for this loss should be punished."
