Alexander McQueen left suicide notes
Designer Alexander McQueen left a series of suicide notes for his loved ones, the British paper, The Sun reports.
It`s not yet known - and it may never be known - what he wrote and to whom.
While McQueen was reportedly devastated by his mother`s passing ten days prior to his death, it has now come out that his lover - whose name was tattooed on his arm - recently broke up with him.
Police are said to have discovered "multiple notes" with McQueen`s body which was found hanged in his Mayfair home in London. Their source says "He left letters to friends trying to explain his actions."
His family decided against a joint funeral and went ahead with McQueen`s mother`s funeral yesterday at Forest Gate, in East London. Now the devastated family has another sad service to plan.
But his mother`s death may have been only part of the reason for his depression. McQueen was allegedly upset at being jilted by his lover. "He was a b*****d who went back to Australia and I was left looking at his name" he told Australian Harper`s Bazaar,
After McQueen`s funeral, which may be held next week, his final couture collection will be shown during Paris Fashion Week in March. This will be unquestionably one of the most sought-after tickets in fashion history. Expect his famous fashion fans, like Naomi Campbell and Lady Gaga, to turn out in droves to pay their respects.
