In Alaska in the air faced 2 aircraft
In Alaska, in the Western part of the state in the air encountered two small aircraft. The crew was killed. The Marines did not state how many people were in the aircraft, but the national guard of Alaska previously reported that on Board were a total of 5 people.
The troopers reported that the accident occurred in the North-West from the village of Russian Mission. Marines say that the response at the scene confirmed that they discovered no survivors on any of the planes.
Officials of the National guard of Alaska say the collision occurred shortly before 11 a.m. Wednesday.
The administrator of the village of Russian Mission Agnes, Hosler, said two men aged 20 years were on the same plane, led by Marshall, reports CBS affiliate KTVA. "When tragedy occurs, members of the community together to support the families of the victims," said Hosler.
Officials reported that the aircraft involved in the accident belong to aviation Cessna 208 with three people and the Alaska Piper PA-18 super Renfro with two people on Board. Officer Renfro said that the company was not contacted immediately about the tragedy. Hageland representatives declined to comment.
