Senator Lindsey Graham from South Carolina, asked him whether he has the right to bypass the approval of the White house and immediately begin a military operation against ISIL.
"It would be appropriate to contribute to what we're trying to do inside of Libya," said Waldhauser. ISIS is an "imminent threat to the United States." Therefore, Waldhauser said that Libya did not have enough troops, you need more people.
Thus, McCain welcomed his candor, "General, Waldhauser, I want to thank you for your candor before the Committee, we will be happy to work with you. I think that the questions that Senator Graham has clearly shown that for LIH the territory of Africa is very important, and therefore you will need a lot of help ".
