The explosion in Manchester killed 22 people
On Monday in the explosion at the stadium in Manchester has killed at least 22 people, including children, according to "Manchester police".
"The suicide bomber died on the scene during the explosion. We believe that the assailant was an improvised explosive device that he detonated," said chief constable Ian Hopkins. Police believe that the suspect acted alone, are continuing the investigation to establish if he was part of the network.
Total for the night had deployed 400 police officers, said Hopkins on Tuesday. He added that residents will see more armed officers. If it is confirmed as a terrorist act, it would be the deadliest attack on British soil since the London bombings in 2005, which killed 52 people.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred shortly after singer Ariana Grande left the scene. Coral long, the mother of 10-year-old fan, told the CNL, they were going to leave the arena when they heard a loud explosion from the left side.
Grande, who has just finished the first of three planned performances in the UK, was not injured.
